How Did Alisun Business Printing Start?
The partnership between Donna Erickson and Natalie Sweeney began when both owner-operators worked together at a franchise printer and bonded over years of being in the print and marketing industry. Donna Erickson said, "We wanted to make an opportunity for clients of all company sizes to have a partner that prioritizes your satisfaction and success, whether you are a two- or two-hundred-person operation."

Alisun Business Printing originated when Donna and Natalie decided to branch out on their own as a small woman-owned business. “We aim to extend print services to all businesses seeking personalized assistance regardless of familiarity with print files and paper types. Our objective is to provide accessible tailored solutions to those who can benefit from a personalized approach, ensuring convenience and ease of use.” Alisun Business Printing was formed in 2015. The business name Alisun Business Printing was prompted as a tribute to their daughters, Alexandra and Madison. “We combined their names with a twist to form Alisun.”

Donna said, “Our main focus has always been on printed materials for all company sizes, including training manuals, brochures, business cards, and flyers. This has grown into many more unique product offerings from laser-etched name tags and directional signage to custom vinyl stickers.”

Alisun Business Printing focuses on providing personal service. In the current market, it is easy to find online solutions for many products, but the downside is that the end user is responsible for all art and specifications. We review every order, checking artwork and working to ensure we know what clients are actually looking to achieve.

Why Westchester?
The attraction for Donna and Natalie to open Alisun Business Printing in Westchester in 2015 was that both Donna and Natalie were familiar with the area and had been doing a lot of business in neighboring communities. “After looking at a few options, we decided the layout of our current location best suited our needs and budget. We were able to expand into the suite next door after a year in business. One of the owner-operators also lives in the community. We have stayed in the Westchester area because our current location suits our layout and budget requirements.”

What Are the Biggest Changes in Recent Years?
Donna said that, in her opinion, the biggest changes in Alisun Business Printing over the last few years have been technology. “Our digital presses can help produce many more traditional items at a lower quantity and faster speed.”
