On 05/02/24 at approximately 05:40am, WPD units were dispatched to 3061 Wolf, 3068 Wolf and 3069 Wolf for criminal damage to property.
Proviso Central Communications advised responding Officers a subject had broken the window of multiple businesses. Officers arrived on location and were directed by witnesses that the subject left towards 31st St. Officers observed a male matching the description of the subject, and detained him.
Upon further investigation and witness statements the subject was brought into the police department for further questioning. The Cook County State Attorney Office was contacted and approved three counts of Felony Criminal Damage to Property against Victor Santiago, 41, Carol Stream. Santiago was issued a citation and Notice and given a court date at the 4th District Cook County Courthouse in Maywood, IL
