On 8/24/2023 Westchester Police Department responded to the 2500 block of Hawthorne Avenue reference a Fraud report. Officer(s) spoke with the victim who advised that he entered into agreement regarding repairs to his residence.
On 8/31/2023, Westchester Investigators took into custody Hankins, Dennis, 64, Bolingbrook for Home Repair Fraud. Cook County State Attorney Office approved one chage of Home Repair Fraud (Class 3 Felony). Hankins was processed and will be transported to the 4th District Cook County Courthouse in Maywood for a bond hearing.
