Wounded Warrior Ride 6/17/2024 Westchester Police Department Community Service Officer Wilson represented the Police Department in the annual Wounded Warriors Ride. The Wounded Warrior Project Solider Ride recently took place at the Brookfield Zoo. In this event, 40 injured Veterans rode the zoo on a 19.1 mile route. This ride is part of a three-day, more than 52-mile cycling event throughout the Chicagoland area, where injured Veterans challenge themselves physcially and mentally as they manage the visible and invisible wounds of war.
