Unity Day in the Village of Westchester
President Hribal presented the proclamation to Mrs Steer who is a parent liaison with PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center and Nova Miles, from the Legacy of Love Foundation (in memory of Christopher Crittendon).

At the October 10th Village Board meeting Village President Hribal proclaimed October 18th, 2023 as Unity Day in the Village of Westchester. President Hribal urges all schools, students, parents, recreation programs, religious institutions, and community organizaions to engage in Unity Day, bringing all citizens together to celebrate kindness, acceptance of difference, and inclusion to protect our town from bullying and create a healthier community. The Village of Westchester encourages all residents and businesses to wear orange on Unity Day to show a message of support, hope, and unity. Unity Day Proclamation
